Don't know the stats, but we dominated for sure...

1-2, but that does not show the caliber of this young team in any way.

Take away our 11 turnovers and add a kicker, (can't even count the missed extra points and fg's), and this YOUNG team is very good...

Having another beer AS WE SPEAK.. :D

Heh, it's the TEAM that won the game, not the "crowd". Congratulate the team.

I'm sure the UCD fans appreciate the congratulations, however they get quite testy when you call them Cal-Davis... correct terms are UC-Davis, UCD or Davis ;)

A Cardinal shocker
Davis scores winning TD in final seconds

Michelle Smith, Chronicle Staff Writer
Sunday, September 18, 2005

"The indisputable mismatch between a Division I-AA team with an 0-2 record and a bigger, stronger squad from the powerful Pac-10 -- a no-brainer on paper -- was anything but Saturday night at Stanford Stadium.

UC Davis stunned the Cardinal with a game-ending 11-play, 72-yard drive, finishing with a 3-yard touchdown from quarterback Jon Grant to receiver Blaise Smith with eight seconds on the clock to score a huge 20-17 upset, Stanford's first-ever loss to a I-AA team. ....."

If you look at the stats, it is tanford that got dominated. UC Davis had about 360 yards of offense, Stanford 190. And Stanford scored both their touchdowns on fumble recoveries!

Stanford was lucky to keep it close, UC Davis thumped them.

Pretty shocking, great win UC Davis
