How far does UNI fall (and do they fall farther than SIU) this week? They got beat by 24 pts (Iowa scored 7 on a 40 yrd run with 40sec left against 2/3rd string) at #22 Iowa.

SIU lost to WMU by 6? Also, does Montana move up, down, or stay the same with their not pretty win over SDSU?

Also, does Youngstown and ILSU break the top 25 with all the lower top 25 losses?

Ill plead ILSU's case...

a 32-21 loss @ Iowa St who whipped Iowa 23-3 who beat UNI 45-21. Ia St is also ranked #22

Pasted Drake 56-19, 37 point win, UNI beat Drake 52-17 35 points.

Go on the road and shalack EIU 27-6 with as dominating an effort on defense Normal IL has seen in a LONG TIME. When Ralph comes home maybe he can add to how the Birds dominated tonight!!!

I am moving No. Iowa down 1, SIU up a couple and Montana down a couple. Illinois St. & Youngstown are just outside of my top 25.

By that same logic, Maine could have beaten Florida last season.

Im not suggesting we can beat Iowa, but stating we played a very close game vs a what seems to be tough Iowa St.

Not sure about all that Matt.
What irks me is that with the SIU loss, WKU will be on top of most polls without even playing this week.

Looks like all the YSU apologists will get their wish this week and be in the top 25, given how the bottom half of the poll performed.

And it's official, GaSouthern should NOT be ranked.

Just doing my duty. If I'm going to be critical of everybody's ballot, I have to make sure everyone has good info.

Well, first of all, Iowa State was much worse when they played Illinois State then when they played Iowa. The Iowa State coach even mentioned they improved by leaps and bounds over the Illinois State game. Second of all, Iowa just did plain out bad, hence why Iowa State looked good. Had Iowa not made the mistakes (which they usually don't) it would not have played out like it did and Iowa would have probably won.

With that said, I think UNI did pretty well at Iowa. Kinnick is a hard place to play in, and the Panthers had an amazing offense. Should be an excellent season in the Gateway. I wouldn't be surprised if UNI won the Gateway, or came a close second to SIU or Western Kentucky.
