We all know the App St win over UM but there were others. Two from the Kats:

1) Although it was a loss the Kat/Bison game was great.

2) Kats fourth quarter comeback at Texas State to end on a five game winning streak and beat the bobcats for the first time in three years.

Many could get votes, but certainly one that needs to be in consideration is Richmond's 5OT win at Delaware; a classic!

Unfortunately NDSU's comeback win over Cal Poly.

Our most exciting was against W&M. We were down big, scored on a two point conversion to tie with 21 seconds left, then lost in double OT.

Delaware vs Navy has to be in there and of course the aforementioned ASU games.
Outside of FCS Boise vs Oklahoma was great.

USD and UC Davis trading scores (and leads) in the last 36 seconds.

If you like that kind of thing...

Some great SoCon games:

-Wofford's early-season upset of App State
-The Citadel-Furman overtime scorefest (one of the more ridiculous games I've witnessed)
-Jayson Foster over App State
-Western's almost monumental rally against Wofford
-Furman's squeaker win at Georgia Southern (missed chip-shot field goal as time expired)

As far as games I saw, NDSU/SHSU and NDSU/Minnesota were great but I'm surpirsed no one has mentiond Richmond at Delaware, I didn't see but I listened to the last hour and a half on radio. I think that it would rank as a close second to Boise St and Oklahoma for best football game of the year.

Colgate spots Dartmouth a 28-0 lead early in the 3rd quarter, rallies to tie at 28, then recovers a Dartmouth fumble at their own 5 yard line in the closing seconds to force OT. FG in the overtime wins it for the Raiders xnodx

There were 3 main ones for UNI
UNI vs. YSU (4th quarter comeback)
UNI vs. SIU (always a great game that goes down to the wire)
UNI vs. UNH (those last minute touchdown drives are pretty exciting)

A lot of the ones listed above I didn't get a chance to see, so out of all the games I did see:

Boise State Vs. Oklahoma - Classic....just classic

Montana Vs. Eastern Washington - Ryan Bagley's amazing 4th and 10 catch will be something I'll remember for the rest of my life. Kind of funny in hindsight how people said that a 24-23 win over EWU was a "bad win" over an "okay team." xlolx

Montana Vs. Wofford - I'm just about 2 and half months away from crying my last tears away from this game, but it was epic. The woofs came in and did the impossible against arguably the FCS's best defense. (again, I repeat, arguably :p) After the Colt Anderson interception, I thought we had the game in the bag, but they just wouldn't "roll over." Probably was the most painful way possible to end a season, but great game, none-the-less. xthumbsupx

Some great SoCon games:

-The Citadel-Furman overtime scorefest (one of the more GLORIOUS, STUPENDOUS, MOST FITTING FINISHES IN A game I've witnessed)

54-51!

GSU was in a lot of good ones this year...all a lot closer than I would have liked. My personal favorite:

GSU 38 - App St. 35

My least favorite:

Furman 24 - GSU 22

ASU-JMU tops my list for two reasons:
1. I was there and I'm a homer.
2. It was a playoff game.

Others that are close:
Mont.-Woff. (saw the end on TV after the ASU-JMU game)
UD-UR - (listened to it on the radio while driving to the W&M-JMU game)

For us it was our 12-6 (OT) win over UMASS, who at the time was ranked #3.

- App State win over JMU
- GSU and Jayson Foster's efforts in beating App State - hated it but it was a great game with an outstanding game plan devised by Hatcher

I am surprised no one has mentioned the ASU-WCU game.xrolleyesx

There were alot of really good games this year.

1-ASU/JMU-a roller coaster ride
2-DEL/UR-I listened to the game, and the announcers were worn out by the end of the game
3-UNH/Northern Iowa-suppose to be a blow out, but New Hampshire almost pulled it off

ASU-Richmond was a great game to watch.

As for the exciting games I saw in person
Towson's last second win over Richmond and Towson last second loss to W&M.

In the exact opposite way that the Delaware game brought tears to my eyes, the catch by Montari Leonard in the endzone with 7 seconds left to pull ahead of New Hampshire in the dome was one of the happiest moments of my life. I was absolutely mobbed by ecstatic fans, and normally that kind of thing makes me nervous, but that time it was nothing but a smile under my big furry head.
Just in case you haven't seen it (NH fans beware), and just because I love this clip, here ya go:

Best game beating Maine in double OT 30-23. Most disappointing losing to Albany in the final seconds 24-23 on a field goal.

How about the NDSU-SDSU Dakota Marker game? Record crowd of more than 16,000, including thousands of NDSU fans who made the trip. Undefeated and #2 ranked NDSU team. Great West championship and the Dakota Marker trophy on the line. Jackrabbits win 29-24 but need an interception in the last minute to preserve the victory.

Any one mention the ASU Michigan game yet!xrolleyesx

Don't make it to many games that ASU doesn't participate in but in hindsight a few games I'd like to have seen in person are;
UD vs Navy
SIU vs UNI
Montana vs EWU
JMU vs Richmond
UNI vs UNH
