On my UMass Football Blog (http://umass74.blogspot.com/)I've posted some scans of several 1980 UMass game programs.
It has the covers of the UMass-Delaware game and a away game with Rhode Island at Meade stadium.
Most of the stuff is UMass centric, but there is some material about the 1980 Rhode Island team.
In 2005, when I went to the Rhody game I spoke with several member of the Rhody band and then with Ram fans. Nobody remembered the previous incarnation of the Rhody band, which was "That Ram Band". They were a Rhode Island feature for quite some time. That Ram Band wore blue and white colonial costumes and did a leg swing. I've included a scan about the Rhody band to save it from oblivion.
