The Holy Cross score came on a 35-yd interception return.

Thus far, Harvard has moved the ball fairly well while the Holy Cross offense has not really gotten untracked.

Harvard has really dominated the game so far. O'Hagan has one interception; the starting QB (don't remember name, the Tulane transfer) threw the first interception.

Missed extra point resulted from a 15-yd personal foul on the initial attempt. The re-try from the 25 - yd line was no good.

First sustained drive by the HC offense in this game -- moving about 80 yards for the score. Actually, HC has more than held its own in the third quarter. Earlier, following a short punt, HC drove to the 10 yard line but fumbled at the 8.

Two minutes left in the third quarter.

I really would like to get rid of my lone Ivy team in my top 25 poll. Go Crusaders!

Regardless of the eventual outcome, this is far different from the 35-0 wipeout last year. HC is much improved.

Bob Fouracre has been broadcasting Holy Cross games for more years than I can remember. He is devoted to HC athletics, but if you want a pristine and coherent call of the game, you might want to try the Harvard broadcast.

As I am typing this, Harvard scores a TD and goes back into the lead.

[Edit: Incidentally, the color commentator for the broadcast is Tom Kelleher, a big, tough Holy Cross fullback in the late 80s. He was a late cut by an NFL team following his graduation.]

Harvard gets the 2-point conversion. My sense is that the HC defense cannot match the talent level of the Harvard offense, but the entire HC team seems to be playing their hearts out.

If Harvard wins i won';t be heartbroken. I really want Lehigh to break the Crimsons winning streak in 2 weeks.

Phew! Holy Cross played us tough. Now the Crimson have to prepare for Brown next week. Gotta cut down on the turnovers! :)
