I dunno what happened. When i turned it on it looked like a 1-AA game vs. a DIII team, URI looks like all their skill position players are about 5'7. I don't know if URI will be able to make enough stops.

I know the option can be hard to defend, but I've never seen this many wide open receivers in a half, it's just not good. Also, would a defender lay out that QB at least once? I don't think he's even been forced to pitch the ball on the outside yet. This is not good, not good at all. There's nothing to make me believe the Tribe will stop Rhody again all game

URI's hit some big plays in the passing game... but now they seem to be throwing too often. They need to get back to the option... which was also going well. My first look at the new W&M 'D'... so far... the Tibe's defense has been... unimpressive.

I agree 100% CM. The passes worked because they were so unexpected (and no doubt there was either a lack of discipline or a poor scheme on the Tribe's part). When the passes don't surprise people any more, URI becomes nothing more than a below average passing team.

I listened to the Marshall and VMI games on the webcast, but this is my first look at W&M as well. I have not only been disappointed in the defense, but I think Potts has looked very average. The Tribe would be very lucky to escape with a 'W'

I think that URI has the ability to make good teams look bad......they have sort of a helter skelter type of game. Jayson Davis, although inconsistent, is also one of the most dangerous players in the A-10......the Rams will either live or die with him. W&M does not look like a Top 10 team.....can Maine have their kicker though?

I saw the plans when they were released. Looks REAL nice and is a micro-mini version of what BC did at Conte with Alumni Stadium.

I think URI needs to spend some money on the erector set grandstand on the "other" side of the field, however.

No prayer if they continue to play like they did today. We still don't know if URI is for real. Those rushing yards don't mean a whole lot, they've been putting up those kind of numbers for a couple years. Although we all thought W&M would be good again this year, remember that they were a 5-6 team two years ago. Good win for URI, but I'm not ready to give them the north crown.

Congratulations to Coach Stowers and URI for a very impressive win today.

The SR QB for URI was just magnificent and Stowers opened up the whole playbook of option football for him. It reminded me of the Paul Johnson era at GSU.

URI definitely deserves to be ranked and if they continue to play like they did today and improve they will make some noise in the A-10. It will be interesting to see how they do against UMass next week.
