Who else isn't watching the game tonight??

I have a previously arranged engagement, can't get out of it. Well.....I could, but that would be rude and not a good business practice. I'm recording the game though. In the meantime, I won't be checking the internet. I won't be checking e-mails. I won't be watching TV (tickers). I have even turned off all my text message alerts I have for all the CAA, Socon & Gateway (the only conferences that really matterxsmiley_wix ) games on my phone for the score after each quarter. I really, really hope I can hold out until I get to watch the game itself.

You might want to keep the "book club" reference out of this. I didn't even know book clubs have christmas parties...let alone invite the spouses.

My company is having our annual holiday party tonight, so I will be setting the trusty DVR and watching the game in the morning. Not going to the company party is what I would call a CLM or Career Limiting Move.

Now if the Grizzlies we're playing, then I would be at home enjoying the game live with a few libations.xthumbsupx
