Cool, it's official. Since the game is already decided the teams can stay home and watch the other games on TV. That should save a lot of gas money for the throngs coming down to Lynchburg from the city where the sun never shines. :D

Seriously, the Penguins SHOULD come down and beat us. But stranger things have happened. Ever the optimist ...

YSU - 17
LU - 21

Sly --For what its worth, Karcher and Heacock are good friends. I don't think Heacock will do anything to run up the score. As much as I don't care for the guy, I have to give him credit for class. He has pulled the dogs all year long early so far in games that could really have been ugly. But I don't think he will be able to stop the reality from occurring.

Enjoyed your board. Man , you guys are really "laid back". :D

I'll post the prediction that will run in my paper when I make it after some more studying. ... It ain't gonna be 48-7, however.

Well It could be 48-7 IF our head coach kept our starting QB in for 3 quarters. Knowing he won't and he will load the team with our 2nd team; which is not bad; I still think 35-42 points is likely. And add around 6-13 more if ZETTS is in for 3 quarters..

I think we will lose based on my prediction earlier (we're overmatched) in the thread but the more I read these lopsided predictions - the madder I get - and I feel like the kid on the Christmas Story when he punches the bully. Oh would the upset be sweet - you YSU guys are feeling a little too good for my taste.

Go Flames baby! Shock the world.

LOL !! HF we couldn't get any respect last year when we were losing. Damned if we do and damned if we don't !! First the polls, now this.

I'm sure it will be a good game.............................................. ........

For awhile. :p

I think YSU will win - but no how, no way are they 40 points better than LU. if I have to eat crow then so be it - but I'll say it again - no how, no way, YSU beats us by 40+ at home.

I expect the dogs to be pulled early in the second half and even that may not be enough.

YSU 41 - 10

HarrisburgFlame

I'll stick with 35-10 YSU. 21-0 YSU at the half. We just don't have the horses upfront to compete and our depth is a great worry to me. I understand our guys are excited about playing this game - that may help us for a quarter or so.

Here's to an injury free game.

Paladin1aa

Hate to say it HF, but part of the reason for the prediction is your injury situation and lack of depth. Its no secret they are going to ram it down your throat and play a very physical game. Not sure how long you guys will hold up.

I agree. Hope no one is hurt in the game. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Kemp and Rojas are banged up (LB's) they are hoping Ackley can "hold up" for 60 or 70 plays. Our front 7 on D is thin to begin with. I see you guys controlling the ball.

Our best shot is to keep our D off the field and hope you guys start kicking the ball around putting it on the turf. If we catch a break or two then you never know. But straight up - the turnover game being equal - you guys are better up front.

YSU 35
LIBERTY 0
3rd Quarter :: 1:41 left

Henderson TD from Zetts.

YSU Rolling Once Again

4 TD passes by Zetts (TIES SCHOOL RECORD FOR ONE GAME; Ryan in 2000 was last for Penguins to do it)

YSU 42
LIBERTY 0

Gliatta in at QB and again another Liberty turnover deep in their zone at the 14 and it leads to a TD.

Boy was I off on my pick on this one. Way off. :o

Not that I didn't believe in YSU ... I just didn't believe LU was that bad.
