No playoff in division 1?

Okay... just waching espn and they were interviewing the coach from NW Missouri St. (playing for division II championship) During the interview the lady interviewing (not sure who it was) said that although they had to take a back seat to Bowl games sometimes... at least they had something division 1 didn't... a playoff!!! It's gotten so bad that they can't even mention FCS when talking about Division II? Ridiculous
