Tx State got a lot of love this week with two of the four going to them. McNeese and SE La finished off the selections.

Week two awards spread among three winning teams.

PLANO, Texas - After a second solid week and helping Texas State to a 2-0 start to the 2005 football season, quarterback Barrick Nealy has been voted the Aeropostale Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week. McNeese State's Trey Bennett is the defensive player of the week after helping the Cowboys to a 23-20 win at No. 5 Georgia Southern. Southeastern Louisiana's Jim Hall and Texas State's Cory Elolf share the special teams award.
