Did Quincy move to the NCAA? I could've sworn that they were NAIA.

I am curious how you know this already, but also was it due to the change in the conference that we have to travel to Macomb for the second straight year?

Ya, it needed to huh? With how weak it is this year, I mean like you said, UNI hasn't played anybody!!

They are NAIA in football only, rest of their sports are D2. Their D2 conference doesnt sponsor football yet, they are working on it.

I don't see why everything I see on our schedule for next year has us going to Macomb AGAIN and having NDSU here... They should be switched and also, selfishly, I am getting married on the day that I keep seeing that NDSU is supposed to come here...

It's on the WIU website...no idea why you are at Macomb again but I am going to assume it is the addition of the Dakotas that may have caused some scheduling anomalies.

Probably due to the addition of the Dakota schools. They may have just started over with the scheduling in the conference. I'm not complaining though. I won't miss a trip to the UNI-dome!

Qunicy is not D2 in football, nice try though. They play in the NAIA's Mid-State Football Association

Why aren't you guys playing EIL every year? That should be a rivalry game to begin the season. Actually, I'd like to see the Gateway bring EIL as their 10th team. I'd also like to see the MVC boot Drake and offer full membership to YSU and EIL, but that's another story.

Looking forward to WIU and SHSU getting back on the field in 2009 with the first game in Huntsville. An enjoyable four year home-and-home. Helps both schools out and it'll be great action!

Who cares about Quincy? Either way it is a soft spot on our schedule.

Western travels to West Lafayette in 2010. Purdue actually takes an FCS break in 2009 but still has a directional Illinois on the schedule.
