Wow, we need to alert people more - only 59 voters in this poll? Isn't that close to half of who normaly votes??

Yale and Harvard both in the top 25, while Dayton and Albany are both out.... This poll has become as credible as good ole Pete's poll.xnonox

That tells you what polls are worth now. It gets settled on the field, I participated in this week's poll but it's for entertainment purposes, all the real work has been finished.

It always drops off. Last year there were 48 voters in the final regular season poll compared with 70 earlier in the year. xpeacex

Yale dropped ten points while losing to their biggest rival, yet they're somehow "out of place"? What do you want, blood? I'm not saying they should have been at #10, but dropping in the polls (10 spots) but staying in there, what's the problem?

As for Harvard, are folks really saying that they don't belong when SIX 7-4 teams are ranked ahead of them? If anything, you should be scratching you head has to how Cal Poly - a 7-4 team whose best victory was against WEBER STATE, for Pete's sakes - is ranked above Harvard, who just beat the #10 team in the nation.

As an FYI, I put Albany AND Dayton in my poll too, so don't say I had any non-scholly bias.

Polls are and always have been worthless. And thats whats great about FCS...polls don't matter...we will settle it on the field. Look at the BCS...you have an undefeated team ranked at 15th or so...stupid polls....you have OU dropped out of the top 5 because they lose their starting QB for one game when if there were playoffs, they would probably be in the semi-finals or NC game.

I'd say Montana got hosed more. They are an undefeated seed and are drawing a Top 10 team first round. xeyebrowx xpeacex

Im glad Fordham is still in the TOP 25. Horrible loss. The only Ill offer in their defense was that they wrapped up the AQ two weeks ago and had a bye week. They had won 7 straight games prior. Those there in person said the team came out flat. With a win Fordham knew they still werent getting a home playoff game. Anyway theyre 5-0 on the road and played their best when needed to. Beat Holy Cross - Colgate - Lehigh- Lafayette- URI - Marist and GTown. You can knock the PL if you want but the comp. is better than most give credit for. Umass will have their hands full. Promise.

My guess would be fans who still have teams playing are more likely to vote. Fans of some teams whose seasons are over are less likely to care.

The grief about Yale is that not only did they lose, but they got blown away, at home. And the Ivies and the Patriot were both historically bad this year in terms of OOC results, for those rare times when they didn't play each other. Yale probably never should've been as high as they were as playing Gtown, Lehigh, and Holy Cross wasn't a tough slate, and the rest of the Ivies outside of Harvard weren't very good. Penn may have had one of their worst teams in quite some time. Since the OOC scheduling has gotten so intertwined, it may be impossible to ever get a good handle on how good (or bad) Yale really was.

Surely you're not saying they should be below 7-4 Villanova (wins against current Top 25: one) or 7-4 Cal Poly (wins against current Top 25: ZERO)? Or are you referring to Youngstown State (6 D-I wins, wins against current Top 25: one)? Again, I'm not saying they should be Top 10, but dropping them from 10 to out of the Top 25 after losing to an 8-2 team is ludicrous. And Harvard fans are rightfully indignant that a team that lost to Texas State for Pete's sakes is ranked ahead of them, let alone Yale who they just beat. If football games were 39 minutes long, they'd be 10-0.
