I propose that a new system to be the called the GPO be developed to show that those teams who did not make the playoffs were "pissed on" by the committee. You could even take the GPI after the selection Sunday and use it to list all those teams who did not make it, then reasons for and against their being PO'ed could be listed. This would become an annual database so that we begin to see the patterns developing. We could even go back to the time when the concept of being "woofed" in 03 was born. Take the GPI for that year and look who did an didn't make it in and let the fur fly (or feathers, or whatever your mascot was losing in the indignation of non-selection). As a corollary we should be able to then propose new rules (okay, guidelines) that the selection would need to avoid such egregious errors in the future. What about it? :) :) :) :)
