Wofford has this week off. How many other teams going to the dance (or possibly headed there) have completed the regular season?

Is there an advantage one way or another?

We had this week off last year and things turned out pretty well. It's probably never a bad thing to be able to rest and get healthy. Some would argue that if you are on a roll you don't want to lose the momentum. How's that for a definitive yes or no.xlolx

Yes, if ASU can roll over UTC, then I like the upward swing into the playoffs more so than a lull that might break the routine.

GSU traditionally took their bye the week before the playoffs until brian vandickhead saw fit to attempt to destroy the traditions and systems that had won 6 titles. Now we have to travel across two time zones to play a 1-A at altitude with our season on the line after playing SDSU, Elon, App, Citadel, Wofford and Furman in consecutive weeks. Just plain stupid... no other way to describe it and the AD is complicit in this stupidity.

Now back to your original question... The week off is HUGE as it gives the kids a chance to heal up, get recharged and excited, and get caught up on their academics. It is definitely the way to go and big ups to Ayers on making your schedule in this manner.
