WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- For the second straight week, Peter Gaertner hit a last-minute field goal to lift Delaware State to victory. With three seconds remaining, he booted a 37-yard field goal today to propel the Hornets to a 23-20 win over the
Winston-Salem State Rams.

DSU rallied from an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Chris Strother
scored his first touchdown of the season and Vashon Winton scored a two-point conversion on a quarterback draw to tie the game with 5:31 remaining.
