I can't tell you how complimentary the announcers for NAU were not only to the Griz, but our fans. They kept commenting on how well our fans travel, how many made it to Flagstaff and how they were louder than all the NAU fans at the game.

It's not hard to have the best dome in FCS football when the City of Fargo buys it for you.

I thought I heard somewhere that thundersticks and the like were banned by the Gateway Conference, though I'm not sure where I could find official word on that.

So far we have established this:

Fargo>Cedar Falls

And also:
The Griz were the true Gateway champions in-

UNI Panthers
Gateway Champions: 1985, 1987, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2001, 2003,

Griz fans aren't impressed by other stadiums in the FCS (besides a few i guess), sorry.

Why Does Northern Arizona have a dome anyway??? I understand that area of Arizona has a high elevation, but it cant get that cold in November. If Montana and Montana State can play outside I Think NAU can hack it as well.

Flagstaff can get cold, but you are right...tough it out, but I say that to all dome teams:D

the thing about flagstaff is it can snow 3ft over night (and does at least once a year) in late oct and nov so, a dome is needed just in case.xpeacex

According to your twisted logic we won the Big Sky in 2003 & 2005, so what's your point?

I wish we could switch schedules this year. UNI would probably still be undefeated. UM probably wouldn't.

That's OK.
At the end of the season, it's the Griz who will be undefeated and You'll have one loss.....irrespective of schedule.
