To add on...

Think about it, they are afraid of no one. They have played the best teams in the country and playing YSU is not going to phase them one bit. It's possible for them to beat anybody, they have seen it all.

Because if they don't get it, they are only up by 5 versus 6. Maybe they thought they have a good chance of blocking the PAT?

That and the fact it take 2 FG's to tie, whereas 2 FG's beats a 5 point spread.

Not going for 2 back there may just be haunting them right now. Of course, they went for two and got it earlier and I am not sure if they were confident they could do it again.

SUU is 0-6 with 6 games vs. ranked opponents including 4 blowouts and 2 close road losses. Now, they have their four conference opponents--UC-Davis, North Dakota State, Cal Poly, and South Dakota State, before ending with Northern Iowa. It doesn't get any easier for them this year.

There were three plays they would like back today. Two were blocked field goals and one was turning the ball over on their own 2, which led to YSU's first touchdown.

I agree, it was a great effort. It's a young team, so this brutal year could be good experience for them.
