Teams that were supposed win, did. Teams that were predicted to lose, well, they did too. Jackson State and Grambling came into last week undefeated. Texas Southern and Alcorn had yet to win. And so it remains.

The GMEN are looking good under first year coach Rod Broadway... really impressed with the defense. They have been playing fast and tough all season. The offense is coming along... I like the balance this year between the run and the pass. Those two true freshmen running backs are doing the job behind an (finally this year) in-shape and trimmed down offensive line.

Glad to see he plans to utilize Clyde Edwards more... that dude is a very good ballplayer. I think he might catch on next year in the league...if not he'd definitely would make a good candidate to go into NFL business offices.
