The CAA Today: Week Two Results – Week Three Preview

I commented on how I thought the CAA may be having an off year this year and backed it up with some pretty good logic, as least I thought it was. Well, so much for logic. A very depleted Villanova team goes into Lehigh and wins. As mentioned, William and Mary blasted VMI. Hofstra upset eighth ranked Furman impressively, scoring 23 unanswered points in the second half. Towson handled a good Morgan State team and Delaware pounded West Chester. To top it off, Rhode Island almost beat Army, taking them to overtime.

CAA is now 8-1 vs I-AA OOC.
Only loss was URI to Fordham in Week 1.

And URI counting is debatable.
