CSN West: The Gateway Garners FCS Attention in Week Two

My newest ‘West’ conference of the Gateway may only have seven schools in it at the present time but in Week 2, it was the highlight conference of all of FCS over the past weekend. Not only did Northern Iowa defeat the Big 12’s Iowa State, Southern Illinois also defeated a FBS school in in-state rival Northern Illinois. The Gateway also provided us with a couple top FCS games in Missouri State winning at Top 25 and 2006 playoff team Tennessee-Martin, as well as Youngstown State defeating preseason Top 25 South Dakota State.
