So we have all seen the Disney "true" story movies about underdog teams. Miracle, Glory Road, We Are Marshall etc etc. How long till the App State beats Michigan movie comes out? xlolx

It was an opening day game.... Kinda hard to center a plot around that. However, I would love to see the casting on that! What do you think Jon Voight or Brian Dennehy to play coach Jerry Moore?

Nah, you needed Lynch to propose to one of the cheerleaders after blocking the FG to make it to Hollywood. As it stands, you're a Hallmark/ESPN movie at best :p

I agree that it's ESPN movie level at best, but more likely just to become an every year, opening week of the season mainstay on ESPN Classic.

Nope, being engaged to Reverend Billy Graham's granddaughter is good enough.

That's cool. Lynch is a good kid and you guys are blessed to have him. I can see the ties there, what with Franklin being an ASU grad to boot. Cool stuff!xthumbsupx

GO CATAMOUNTS!!!

If Hollywood made a movie on this, they would probably "add" to the story or fictionalize it up a bit. For example, you'd see the Appy team practice two-a-days on a beat up and dusty field. The team's equipment manager also substitutes as the teams only medical staffer. The team would be wearing donated pads and jerseys from a local high school. And the entire Appy team travel to Ann Arbor on a beat up yellow school bus. They'd stay at a run down motel six or some sort...and eat brown bag lunches their parents made.

In contrast, Michgan players would be working out in a state of the art facility. Dozens of trainers would attend to the player's needs. etc etc

Then the big game!!!!

Remember, Fox has been taping for the last few weeks for ASU's 30 minute show for under the lights, However, after the game they said they had so much footage they were making it a 1hr show. Should air sometime in Oct

Holy cow I forgot all about that! This will give the news cycle a full other spin!!! Make sure to let all Ohio State people know because this will keep the story going like a wild fire! That will be a crazy twist to the show that will be awesome!
