Finally got my season ticket package---picked up at the 'meet n' greet' at Taylor Gym and got to meet our four captains this year..and was very impressed with their poise, friendliness and articulation of their goals for this year. While everyone recognizes the PL is going to be very competitive this year, and the OOC schedule is tough, there is much optimism and anything less than a PL championship and playoff berth will be a disappointment. One confirmation is that speedy recruit Ken Shaw is not matriculating having accepted a full TRACK scholarship to the University of Washington. He could have done both sports at Lehigh, but has decided to forego the risk of injury in football as he is projected to be an Olympic level sprinter. Hope it works out for him. Would have been exciting to see such blazing speed in a brown & white uniform, where it has been a rare commodity.
