HS running back from Cy-Fair HS in Tx (5-A school)

Not too shabby for a caucasian RB (with 4.32 speed, 41 inch vertical)

xlolx Hey, I never said McNeese got him, I just said he was impressive. I am sure there is probably an FBS team in his future.

I cannot view youtube from work, but I assume you're talking about Sam McGuffie. Michigan is one of the 13 schools he's narrowed his list down to. I can't believe he's not a 5 star

The crazy thing about McGuffie is that he's considering Minnesota!

LOL, I guess he heard there's a lot of white people there.

It probably has nothing to do with the fact that all they do there is run the ball. And place RBs in the NFL. xconfusedx

He has stated Michigan is in his top 6 and has visited the campus several times in the past few months. With Hart gone next year, he knows he can get immediate PT

They're running the Texas Tech offense now.

Good luck to them. They'll need it and some new players.

I will wait till he is in college to pass judgment on him, don't mean to play the race card but he is the first of his type.

Not the first of his type....Just one of the few that's getting recognition...

Houston Area High Schools seem to churn out rare talents like him....lots of it just goes unnoticed....

But like you said.....Wait until he sets foot on a college field before passing judgment...

Good luck getting him to go too far away from home though......Arkansas and Texas A&M (ugh!) are currently on his list...

I know Tim Brewster, Minnesota will be running a version of the spread offense. Something similar to what Cal does.

A guy with his talent and running style would fare well in an offense's like Texas' or Florida's where quick ****fy-type RBs have success. I'd love to see him in Flagstaffxthumbsupx

great player none the less. Hats off to Cy-Fair and their program. (their last RB went to Northwestern

How about this for Texas HS Football Stadiums!

That Kid had incredible acceleration, it fun to watch him run that inside zone a play close to every offensive linemens heart. Nothing is a beautiful as a perfectly executed inside zone play

I guess the only thing that gets to me is he is good but he looks like the type that can be done for good with one strong lick, I just see him playing against Texas and some 6-3 245 LB destroying him. Hopefully he can live up to his height, sure has a funny name lol.

I live about 10 minutes from Cy-Fair High School and that Cy-Fair ISD Stadium. The McGuffie kid is something special. I went to one of the games last year when they played Cy-Falls. He is something to watch live. He has a ton of acceleration. Ironically, Cy-Falls ended up making a deep run in the Texas High School Playoffs last year and their starting QB Jeff Welch ended up at Sam Houston St this year. He is a tough nosed QB that can flat out play.

The Berry Center is an awesome high school stadium. It puts Bowers Stadium to shame. Along with that stadium they also built a 8300 seat capacity basketball arena. The district dropped some coin on that entire place. Below are the pics....

I'm not surprised about this kid. Texans take their football seriously and it is damn near a religion.

It is so serious that if Texas were to secede from the union all they would need to do is close down the state for a day, change the colors of the flag, rearrange the states various college football schedules and reopen the next day for business as usual.

Yea, I've actually just recently been to their facilities this January. The FACILITY IS SUPERB! As you can tell from the pics, it puts a lot of FCS schools to shame...

The Basketball arena also doubles as an Arena ball field...

This kid has something special. I get a little tired of reading about 40 times (they are often just flat wrong) and verticles (proves athleticism, but football...?). But this kid has vision and timing. His ability to see the play develop, be decisive and then accelerate is amazing. I am impressed.xnodx

Man he looks great. He'll get hurt if he tries that hurdle move in FBS. Boy turn down the music. Has anyone noticed that it always sounds like the same damn song with different words. Isn't that boring when these guys can only play one song. They take the same music and put different words to it. There must be hundreds of rap songs that song exactly the same. LOL BORING and proves they have little musical talent and no music writing abilities.

There's alot of good talent there. You know Lloyd Carr will give him a workout, the way they run the ball in Ann Arbor.

This kid can stop of a dime and still give you 9 cents back in change. Looks like no one even touches him.

BTW, my wife just accepted a job with his school district so I might have a chance to see him play in person this year if it doesn't interfere with my McNeese Tailgating.

WOAH, I was scared for a moment. I saw clips of this guy two years ago and was like he's gonna be scary in college. Someone said something about him going to McNeese and I thought "that guy is going FCS?!" Fortunately, someone pointed out he is a 4-star RB who is looking at Michigan, Minnesota and others. But he should definitely be a 5 star. He is SICK.
