Does anyone know there schools partial or complete 2008 schedules?

Georgetown will be at Yale, home to Penn, plus the PL games.

At least to the public, 3-4 games remain open at this point.

Western Illinois is the only NC that is scheduled and that will be at the FFD. Gateway teams obviously are scheduled but the sites aren't known yet.

I know FAMU is on the schedule. I think this year is the end of the dumb 9 game mandate in the SWAC. xthumbsupx

The Mountain Hawks will see a couple NC teams that they haven't played lately, plus the usual PL crew, but only 5 home games:(

Sept 6: Liberty
Sept. 13: at Villanova
Sept. 20: Open
Sept. 27: at Princeton
Oct. 4: Cornell
Oct. 11: Fordham
Oct. 18: at Harvard
Oct. 25: at Holy Cross
Nov. 1: at Georgetown
Nov. 8: Colgate
Nov. 15: Bucknell

I know we play South Dakota. I'm not sure about our FBS game. I think we were working on one. Maybe a return game to Northwestern State.

Just the teams we're playing (I don't know the site of most of them yet):

Georgia Southern (at home)
Sam Houston State (on the road)
Northern Iowa
Illinois State
Western Illinois
Youngstown State
Indiana State
Southern Illinois
South Dakota State
Missouri State

One game left to go. Most likely an FBS. I've heard possibilities of Wyoming or Nebraska.

ON EDIT: Actually 2 more games. Maybe a home game guarantee against an NEC team, possibly??

Will Lehigh be adding a 12th opponent?

At the moment, doubtful. Philosophically, the school is against 12 regular season games. However, I know they are trying to schedule a game with Navy, who was dropped by UConn, for a few years, so if such an opportunity arose, that might be an exception. Although that would be another away game in a season where we already are on the road for 6, but I still think they'd make an exception for Navy or Army, as well, though I've heard Army will not play us.

Last I heard Army reschedule UNH for 2008 after backing out of the game in 2005 so there probably not looking for a FCS opponent for 08 anyway.

Saturday Sept. 1 at Hawai'i Honolulu, Hawaii 6:05 p.m.

Saturday Sept. 8 CHADRON STATE GREELEY, COLO. 1:00 pm

Saturday Sept. 15 at San Diego San Diego, Calif. 6:00 p.m.

Saturday Sept. 22 *at Northern Arizona Flagstaff, Ariz. 3:05 p.m.

Saturday Sept. 29 at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Calif. 6:05 p.m.

Saturday Oct. 6 *at Idaho State Pocatello, Idaho 3:05 p.m.

Saturday Oct. 13 *WEBER STATE GREELEY, COLO. NOON

Saturday Oct. 20 *at Montana Missoula, Mont. 1:05 p.m.

Saturday Oct. 27 *MONTANA STATE GREELEY, COLO. NOON

Saturday Nov. 3 *at Eastern Washington Cheney, Wash. 2:05 p.m.

Saturday Nov. 10 *SACRAMENTO STATE GREELEY, COLO. NOON

Saturday Nov. 17 *PORTLAND STATE GREELEY, COLO. NOON

This schedule will be all the Bears can eat, and more. With a respectful showing at Hawaii and a home win against D-II Chadron State, there is hope for 3 or 4 wins, and a huge improvement over last year. That is easier said than done for sure. Hawaii comes in a potential top 25 team, and Lindys just picked Chadron State #3 pre-season for D-II. To start the season at 0-2 may spell disaster for UNC in 2007. The Bears return only 11 starters from last year's team, not yet sure if that is good or bad. xeekx

2008:

@Duke
@VMI
@Villanova
@Richmond
@Towson
@Maine
vs. App State
vs. Liberty
vs. Delaware
vs. W&M
vs. UMass
vs. Hofstra

Of the three CAA North (Hofstra, Maine, UMass) games I am assuming the home/away status, based on the reverse of where we played them last in 2005.

2009 is also already done, by the way:

@Maryland
@Delaware
@W&M
@UMass
@Hofstra
vs. Richmond
vs. Towson
vs. Villanova
vs. Maine
Liberty
VMI

Based on '08, Liberty would be away and VMI at home, but I don't know if this is a normal home-home contract (I would assume so).

UMass rotates into the other half of the CAA South i.e. Delaware, JMU and Richmond.

We play Holy Cross and Texas Tech for two of our three OOC games.

With UNH, Maine, Delaware, JMU and Texas Tech on the schedule, I would hope that last OOC game is somebody easy!xrotatehx

For CCU, there's the normal Big South slate, which based off of this year's games should be:

@ Presbyterian
@ VMI
v. Liberty
@ Gardner-Webb
v. Chas. Southern

Also, there's the @ Penn State game that we're "rumored" to be playing. I suppose we'll probably start playing Stony Brook in '08, also, but no idea where. That's 7 out of 12 games so far. Any other CCU folks want to help me out/confirm/tell us about games I forgot about?

Great trip, chance for fans with $$ to go to Honolulu (li'l Tokyo) and a big pay day for UNC, who has practically no funding and is in a big hole financially.

Can they get home in one piece and get ready for little old Chadron State, that is the question. More on that one later. xnodx
