Two home games after Sept. 8, but a 4-0 run still possible in the MAAC.

Yup. 2008 season.

At which point the MAAC probably goes belly up.

4 schools that will have a very difficult time getting more than 5 FCS games a year.

There are numerous rumblings surrounding Patty V.'s "non-scholarship" summit this summer. The Dukes departure from the MAAC certainly opens up the possibility for expansion. I will not be surprised to see another team or maybe even more surface to join the MAAC. Campbell's request to join the PFL has not been granted which indicates that there is certainly something(s) going on in the world of non-scholly football. Do not be so quick to write the MAAC off just yet....

It seems that a move of the Sacred Heart game to October 20 would open up Sept. 22 against either Valpo or Davidson. An 11th game would result.

Dukes should win every game from the end of September until Monmouth.

Don't count Robert Morris out. It's a classic rivalry, where anything can happen, and RMU could be pretty good this year. It's hard to pinpoint because there's been a lot of changes, especially on the offensive line and at running back. But the elements of the number one defense in FCS football last year are still there, and the offense could be very potent.
