I was reading my Sporting News last night and they had a couple pages on FCS (which they called I-AA) likely NFL draft picks/ It was good to see some of our fellow FCS'rs get some love on a larger stage. Ben Patrick of Delaware was featured and the football factory Hampton was noted for having five players at the combine. UNH's David Ball was given a full page. Here's where to find it on the web:

You gotta look for SS Craig Dahl to be drafted. He has had a great combine and pro day. Probably late 1st day or 2nd day.

ASU probably won't have any draft choices this year (a lot of free agents, however). But look for Kerry Brown to be a first-day pick in 2008 as an offensive lineman.

How many true FCS players were drafted last year? Take out I-A transfers (like Ingle Martin). Pure signed and developed FCS players?

And if he didn't miss three games with an ankle injury, he's probably the Rookie of the Year xnodx

If available, I would use a late round pick on Ball. In a few years, I would look like a fortune teller.
