Anyone heard about Hampton's OC Charles Bankins accepting the running backs coach position at Richmond???xconfusedx

I don't know why the guy would leave when he has not been an OC before. Unlike Beatty, he still has some room to grow.

I know UR is looking to pick up one more assistant and we do need a running backs coach. UR has been paying good money for assistants and the young coaches who've left UR have gone to solid programs. I hadn't heard this rumor, but sounds pretty good to me.

Not true. Coach Chris Beatty did leave Hampton, but for Northern Illinois, not Richmond.

Beatty was our OC, Bankins was acting OC after Beatty left.
