Wow, now that sucks for the home team. I thought Hofstra had it bad last year with 7 road tilts, 8 is the most I have ever seen.

Amen to that, I thought Jacksonville State's 7 roadies was bad also...but eight would be enough to make me quit.

On the bright side, very few of those games are terrible road trips. A couple of them are within a 2 hr drive of Clinton.

According to PC's website, we will be making a trip to Clinton in 2008. Didn't know we signed a home and home with PC?! Oh well, one less TBA on the 2008 slate to worry about.

GO CATAMOUNTS!!!

How can you play North Greenville and Pikeville and NOT play Edward Waters???

8 road games sucks, unless you're like Towson and lose all your home games and win all your away games.

For their first year in D-I, I don't think it is such a bad schedule except for all for all of the road trips of course.

That's a big except. Can any of you other recent new/move-up teams please post your first I-AA schedule?

I was referring to the lower division teams.

I think they have plenty of quality D1fcs teams (i am being generous with wcu)
how do you all think they will do with that schedule?

Id say 5-6 would be a good year

5-6 would be a great year...I see somewhere between 3-5 wins for them....the 3 DII games they should win and maybe even 2 from the Big South teams....but that would be if they are much better than anyone thinks...

Their team is the Presbyterian College "Blue Hose"?!?! That has got to be one of the most unique team names I've ever heard of.

Welcome to FCS, Hosers! (sorry, I couldn't resist) xlolx

I remember down here when Troy moved up. They played roadgames against any teams anywhere. It's how your athletic dept. makes money, which is what you need to compete with the big boys.

They will have a pretty solid program there coming up in a few years. We'll let you know how good they are first game of the season.

For a first year transitioning team, thats a heck of a schedule

to reply to my own post, the only other 1st year transitioning team I could think of is North Carolina Central, whom we play next year....they have 6 D-II games next year, 7 if you count Presbyterian
