No official announcement yet, but based on other's schedules this is it:

9/1 at Colgate
9/8 at Fordham
9/15 HOFSTRA
9/22 at Montana
9/29 at Central Conn.
10/6 STONY BROOK
10/13 SACRED HEART
10/20 at St. Francis
10/27 at Wagner
11/3 ROBERT MORRIS
11/10 at Monmouth

Only 4 home games sucks.
I think 9-2 with 2 losses to either Colgate, Fordham, Hofstra, or Montana gets consideration for a playoff bid. Getting a bid will depend on how those teams did themselves.

I think 9-2 or 8-3 is a reasonable expectation here.

I like it as it will at least some comparability to Furman with the Hofstra game.

With 17 starters returning, the only automatic L is Montana! I thought the same against Delaware last year. Losing Andre Coleman and Barksdale hurts on D. Losing Anderson on O hurts. Everyone else split time. I like our chances with our OOC shedule.

I think 9-2 pretty much gets them in, unless those 4 teams all hit rock bottom next year. Very good schedule. Albany's consistently been a model to follow for good OOC schedules. Now, if they could only convince others...

I say you automatically make the playoffs if you win road games on consecutive days:thumbsup:

That would be a playoff worth showing. Sorry about that typo. Fixed now.

Sweet schedule. First 4 games is a tough stretch, that's for sure.

Is it Hoftsra @ Albany? I remember 2 years ago I believe Hofstra came to Albany, so wouldn't that mean Albany goes to Hofstra this time? Especially with Albany's less-than-stellar stadium at the moment... If Hofstra is an away game for Albany, that would mean 5 away games against good/great teams to start off the schedule for the Great Danes, very tough

Ralph, dont take this the wrong way because I know your championing the good schedule we have, but ALBANY hasnt had a DII or DIII in some years....I think maybe our second DI season, in 2000.

We have consistantly played a killer OOC.

Some on the board have more enthusiasm for our outlook, yet I see a team that, while it returns 17 starters, still is very green in the backup spots. We are loaded with Red shirt frosh and sophs...with our second batch of scholly kids coming in.

I would be happy with 7-4...pleasantly suprised with 8-3...buying my ticket for a playoff game if the Danes go 9-2.

...buying my ticket for a playoff game if the Danes go 9-2.Well I don't know if you'd be buying it but ALBANY would be in the committee's discussion!

That was the second game of a home & home two years ago. This is a different contract. Probably a home & home also. And we most likely wouldn't have taken another OOC away game. That would have given us 3 home games all year.
