I'm not a fan of this schedule - two IA (FBS) games that are largely unwinnable, and the other OOC game is really a conference mandate with a transitional future conference member. In reality, that is zero OOC games against FCS teams. It'll be hard to judge SC St on that schedule because of that.

I think they may have come to the realization that to get in the playoffs they have to win the MEAC so WTF?

Winston Salem is a conference member, though they aren't eligible for post season play, I don't think. This is a murder schedule, and we have pretty much resigned to the idea that the only way to the playoffs is through the auto bid, as my purple neighbor in Paladin Land mentioned. I guess we will send our staff up to Montana to find out what strategy they used to take down Colorado. :smiley_wi

If that's the case then by all means, load up on FBS teams and tally up the checks!

If you go 8-3 against that schedule, I don't how you can be left out of the playoffs.

which ones? :D Both. We meet for the chewbone of the FCS title. The powers that be move the game to Columbia and the SCSU"Lil DAWGS" beat the Citadel "Big DAWGS" 27-24 on a Adam V type field goal in the biggest snowstorm that Columbia has seen in the last 10 years before a crowd of 25,000 southern folks that cause all kinds of mayhem getting back to the hotels walking after the game and raiding the grocery stores for water, bread, milk, ice, and beer to last through the "Blizzard". Isn't that the way it's done folks from Montana,Iowa, SD and ND for a 4 inch storm?xlolx

I'm thinking 8-3 gets them a bid also... but you never know, depends on who they lose too... also, they had two straight 9-2 season without a playoff bid, so...
