LOL!! Last I saw on yesterday's game was Sam -1. Must have been a pile of green moving just before kick-off!!

If I'd seen the NDSU line before last week, I would have taken the Sam Houston and the points (not to win). However, after what I saw in the quarters, I'd take NDSU and the over. Jury still out on the JMU-SDSU game... pretty tight line, but I'd take the over.

I went with Wofford and UNH to cover last week. Neither covered their huge spreads. Hard to pick against NDSU, but 20 points with that SHSU offense?

True, but no defense

I was surprised to see the NCAA hype their anti-gambling program," Don't Bet on It", on the big board at the Dome during the Wofford - NDSU game. Vegas needs to send some "leg-breakers" up to Indianapolis........

I missed that one... shows how much I watch the crap they make NDSU play on the video boards.

Might have been in the extended pre-game. You were probably still out in the TG lot.

I didn’t think NDSU would cover San Diego. Absolutely did not think they would cover Wofford. Impossible for them to cover SHSU. Bet the house.

Or it's the same person who tabbed NDSU as 30 point favorites against San Diego and 24.5 point favorites against Wofford when most of us said the same thing about those spreads being way too big.

While I will be pulling for my fellow Southland Kats, I expect they will be scattered, smothered, and covered like hashbrowns at Waffle House.

However, looking at the pick'em contest, it is obvious that I am one of the worst prognosticators when it comes to point spreads, so maybe reverse psychology will be in play. :D

For you football fans that follow D-III level .. note perennial co-contender Wisc Whitewater did NOT even make playoffs this year for first time in a while. But their fellow co-contender Mt Union will play in championship yet again. Mt Union has been in championship 20 times in 25 years, winning it 12 times .. plus 1 if they win this year.

But over 10 year period, Mt Union and Wisc Whitewater met in championship 9 of 10 years, with Whitewater winning 6 times, and Mt Union winning 4 times. Looks like Whitewater has fallen off in 3 years since .. but what a run .. makes NDSU look rather pedestrian. :D

What's sad is I would have NO idea where either of those schools are if you hadn't put their states in parentheses. xlolx

I got to attend UCA's national championship in the NAIA in 1991...
