DSU improves its OOC schedule with the addition of Kent State in 2007.

DSU opens at home against Coastal Carolina.

And Kent State returns the trip to Dover in 2008.

Nah, just kidding, but based on the I-AA's DSU has been able to get to come to Dover, it wouldn't surprise me.:p

MAC has a rule against league teams playing away games at I-AA schools . That why we won't play them anymore and have moved on to playing money games vs bigger D-Is.

We embarassed MAC so bad in home & home series that its the unoffical "Youngstown" rule.

Paladin1aa... Tell the folks at ysupenguins.com I support everything you're saying about us moving to the MAC. I am banned so I can only read the boards at work.

I must say: GO DSU. KICK THE FLASHES ASS!

somethings not quite right here. FAMU says their 9/8 game is at home against DSU. But this release above says they play Coastal Carolina on 9/8. http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/what.gif

The News Journal can hiccup every once in a while. I've got a Valentines' dinner to cook, so I'll research tomorrow.

Certainly makes the list of good chance for FCS to beat FBS on the field.

Called DSU's SID.

Sept 1st is Coastal Carolina. FAMU is 9/8. Kent State is 9/15.

They've made some minor changes to games later in the year and the final schedule should be released in the next few days.

I hope the Hornets win. It would be a big statement game for them and the MEAC.

Lavan beating a MAC team (his old stomping grounds) would also hopefully help him snag a recruit or two from that area.

Don't know if I'd go that far. Kent had a propensity for losing to YSU, but they're 5-0 against other I-AA's from what I can see. I think DSU may have a chance to challenge for the MEAC title, but the MEAC's best hasn't exactly shined in I-AA the last several years.
