I realize Malcom Summers only has 3 TDs but he's the number 1 rusher in the FCS. I'm certainly biased, but he is on my primary list. (He has 2 rushing TDs and 1 receiving TD.)

Neal OConnor has 638 yards on 40 catches and 8 TDS in five games. He also has a TD pass. Much better WR candidate than those listed.

Has to be at least considered. Just eye popping numbers so far. If there was NCAA fantasy league, he'd be a money maker.

I really like Summers. Can't move him above the consideration list into the candidates list without some touchdowns. If a RB finishes with 1,500 yards rushing but just 5 TDs, they won't get many votes. If he keeps up the yardage I'll add him as others fall off but hard to add him early without some touchdowns.

3 Aggies are on this list. Wow...

They deserve it. The CB is having one of the best freshman seasons of anyone while the QB is lights out and of course the lineman is dominating.

DBs need ball production and that was his first week doing it. If he were to have another game like that plus a couple more picks then that would get him on.

Yes. Good player. One more big game and he is going on. There are several players I want to wait and see 1-2 more weeks. I don't want to just remove defenders unless injury or zero production is happening until later on. Once we get to November then I think it is fair to remove anyone, evening a returning All-American, if their numbers and play just aren't there yet. So far there have been a lot of games where players haven't had to play the entire game because they played down or played a P5 school or two and their numbers just weren't as good.

Speaking of HC, your C Murray is getting legit NFL interest. I have heard multiple people talk him up as a PFA rising. I'm excited to see his tape soon. The one game I had of yours earlier he did not play in it.

One more good week and he goes on. I put the Nicholls WR on early because he looked so good at McNeese and A&M but if he does not have a big week this week I may flip him and O'Connor. There are a lot of good WRs in FCS right now.

We play HBU xcoffeex...how many passes do you think it will take? xlolx He might go 8 for 10 with 200 yards..but I seriously think the RBs will have a better day. If we're throwing anywhere near the end of the third quarter I'd keep him off the list. xlolx

You have to remember how voters see this at the end of the year. Many only see production and don't see the full games. If he only throws for 200 yards but has 4 passing TDs and 1 rushing TD that looks really good but if you guys win by 30 and he only has 1 TD with 200 yards and is pulled at halftime then he doesn't produce enough to get additional eyes on him.

my darkhorse homer pick would be Blake Morgan of Wofford. He makes big plays whenever he touches the ball. He's earned the nickname "Big Play Blake by our color commentary guys." Well deserved in my opinion

Let's see how screwed up this list is:
Keelan Doss #1 in FCS receiving receives considered and

WR Justin Watson, Penn, Sr.- 20 catches, 290 yards, 14.5avg, 4 TD, 96.7 yds/gm, 2 catches, 26 yards in 3 games. has such superior numbers and is on the list.

This list is really poor. Anyone completing 70% of their passes, has over 1200 yards and has a rating over 150 has got to be considered at the least.

lol.....looks like its hard to get on the list if your in the West. 3 guys on the Payton List of 29.

QB Jake Maier - UC Davis - 1,685 yards, 125-174 71.8% Comp., 12 TDs, 170.2 Efficiency, 337 yards per game.........Better stats than a majority of the candidates, not even considered.

WR Keelan Doss - UC Davis - 41 catches, 662 yards, 4 TDs, 132 yards per game............Better stats than a majority of the candidates, yet only considered.

Not to be overly nitpicky, but Detrez Newsome at WCU has only played in 4 games (was out for this past weekend's contest with UTC). So his numbers should reflect that he is leading the country with over 139 rushing yards per game. He also hasn't had a break-out return yet, but he lead FCS level in all-purpose yards last year and generally has some huge kick-off returns. And the list is already long and distinguished, but right now Tyree Adams is probably WCU's offensive player of the year to date over Newsome and he isn't on your list.
