It will be a distinct pleasure to welcome the Tigers to beautiful, sunny Orono in November:smiley_wi

Yeah, I played up there my sophomore year in late November. It was lovely. Just warm enough to keep the mud from freezing. And a nice cooling mist to go with the wind chill. : smh :
Our freshman QB threw 7 picks that game, which I think is still an NCAA record. I got head planted the first 3 times chasing the intercepting defensive player. The next 4, I just "contained".

I like it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but TU hasn't lost an OOC game since joining the CAA, has it?

Nope.
But Morgan, Elon and Liberty aren't much to brag about though. Well maybe Morgan depending on who you are talking to. :smiley_wi

Too bad you only have 5 home games. Not very strong OOC, but CCSU could definitely sneak up on you, and ask UMass about Colgate.

Stronger than before though.
Plenty of experience against Colgate during the PL years. Towson won't be up to 63 scholarships until after next season. I think. Once that runs its course, Navy, Northwestern, Illinois and Maryland are all lined up for 2008-2011.
It'll be nice to see a fully funded Tiger squad with then Senior Sean Shaefer QB'ing on the big stage down at Annapolis!

I don't think we've played a D2 school since beating IUP in 1992.

Don't you know? Only the Grizzlies guarantee their fans 6 home games every year.

Ideal tailgating weather! Look for us in the lot right behind the stadium. We have a silver Pacifica (unless we trade it in by then.)

good, it's always nice to see schedules that don't have D2's on them.

I've always felt that the southern CAA teams should have to travel up north during November. Seems like a fair trade off to me for the northern teams having to play in the September heat down south.

Good preparation for any potential playoff games in say, Missoula! xlolx
