The Keydets beat Bucknell 23-17 in 3OTs to notch their first back-2-back road wins since 1981!!! They hadn't won two straight games since 2005!

Again, the defense makes big plays when needed. Twice in the 4th period and OT, Bucknell went for it on 4th and 2 inside the Keydet 10......VMI stopped both attempts. THen the INT in OT #3 set up fine Freshman RB Daz Palmer for the winning 12 yard dash.

Offense needs to pick it up, if VMI is to win some SoCon games.

Both teams apparently have serious issues with their FG kickers. Also, how many OT games has their ever been where there was 0 scored in OT 1 and in OT 2. Maybe I just missed them. I have seen one OT with no scores, but 2??? I can't recall any.

We always have to worry about VMI regardless of their record. Now we have to worry even more. Congrats Keydets. And congrats to your QB...all time career passer in VMI history.
