13,391 at beautiful Hancock Stadium to see arch rivals square off with the EIU Panthers capitalizing on ISU's turnovers. The Birds turned the ball over 3 times (EIU 0 turnovers) while outgaining the Panthers 443 total yards to 263....first downs ISU 25- EIU 15. Sloppy game from ISU results in a good win for EIU.

Helmets off to EIU for the victory. The Panthers should do very well in the OVC and could knock off Jacksonville State. Anyhow, onto the next game (@ Indiana State) which is the first of the MVFC meat grinder.

ISU needs to clean up some mistakes, and the Birds will be a handful for anyone they play.

They way we've been playing they could very well take us down. I'm just glad that we have them at home and we have a lot of time to practice and clean up our game before then.

I'm glad we got our game against them out of the way early. Not sure we'd do so well if we played them today.

Not sure which is better...riding the bench at Western, or throwing 2 INTs for Murray State. I guess he at least gets on the field for the Racers.

For reference, the QB for Murray State, Cameron Birse, actually transferred to Western in the spring (from Arkansas State). He tried to compete for QB for us, but it was pretty obvious he was going to be something like our #3 or #4 QB. About halfway through our August practices, he leaves the team. A few days later, he pops up on Murray State's roster.

A college track within the stadium is bad enough let alone a full race track, pit area and safety wall. That picture is hilarious.

i'll bet you still had some jack*ss fan arguing every referee call.

There's no way I'd pay to watch a game there, maybe if it was free and not on tv.
