And there you have it, folks, the Ivies are finally kicking off yet another season of some subtle changes but even more of unfulfilled wishes waiting to be implemented. xsmhx

Game Lineup:
FRIDAY NIGHT
Rhody at Harvard - Crimson should win easily. Rhody was outmatched in its first two games (by an FBS and a partially-ranked FCS).
SATURDAY
St. Francis at Columbia - despite the Red Flash playing ugly to start the season (they lost their leads in the second halves of their previous games against the Griz and Towson), they should get the W here against an unproven Lions team.
Brown at Bryant - not sure if Bryant has the better team in this matchup; they kept the Bozeman 'Cats in close range but they couldn't upset them.
Colgate at Yale - 'Gate had a bye this week. But they kept Syracuse from scoring a lot.
Lehigh at Penn - Lehigh kept 'Nova close but couldn't sustain its halftime lead. Penn has a lot of uncertainties.
Lafayette at Princeton - not sure what to say about the 'Pards here...
Cornell at Bucknell - Bucknell has more style points here.
UNH at Dartmouth - I don't think Dartmouth still has an edge in the final game of this series for the foreseeable future. UNH leapfrogged the Cross in the 4th quarter of their game.

Harvard (another patsy opponent for Harvard who refuse to challenge themselves)

St Francis (Columbia might as well have played Fordham)

Brown (they won't be Ivy Champs this year, but they will be the champs of Rhode Island)

Yale (Yale was a 9 game season opener win streak)

Penn (they will get revenge for last year's loss)

Princeton (they will win by bigger margin then they would lose to Rutgers)

Dartmouth (UNH is over rated)

Cornell (Archer won't let one of his few winnable games get away. Cornell plays a lot tougher in Ithaca)

Sad reality for as long as Murphy is at the helm. I'm afraid to admit that Harvard's schedule has taken a beatdown since Murphy started the string of Ivy championships for the Crimson.

You can pretty much assume that UNH will beat Dartmouth until Dartmouth can show otherwise. Ditto for Dartmouth v. Harvard.

Gate over Yale. Yale may have more talent Raiders are a better team.
Lehigh over Penn. LU getting tougher but need to show that they know how to win
Princeton over Pards .Pards have a D but no offense.
Bucknell over Cornell. Bison have a staunch D but no offense. Red have yet to show they are serious about football.

Harvard
Columbia - why not. Let's see how good Bagnoli really is w/o the favorable admissions dept. he had at Penn
Bryant
Yale - the opener has been good to Yale. We will see.
Lehigh - Penn not as good as advertised (I hope)
Princeton - Does LC ever win this game?
Bucknell - better of the 'nells

Dartmouth beat New Hampshire 22-21. They scored 15 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to grab a come from behind victory. It's the first Dartmouth victory over New Hampshire since 1976. Congratulations Dartmouth! Ivy League ended going 5-3 this week as follows:

2-0 against the CAA
1-1 against the NEC
2-2 against the Patriot League.

Wow. I got some of my picks wrong, especially Cornell. xdohx

Scores:
Harvard 51, Rhody 21
Red Flash 13, Columbia 9 - score is very low... xconfusedx
Brown 35, Bryant 27
Colgate 55, Yale 13 - I was right
Lehigh 49, Quackers 28 - I got it right as well. Penn may struggle this year.
Princeton 35, Lafayette 31 - Tavani has to retire.
Cornell 24, Bucknell 16 - Archer is out of the hot seat for now
Dartmouth 22, UNH 21 - Wow. I never expected this score. xeekx
