Both schools created on the same day at the same time via constitutionally lawful segregation. On the 140th year anniv for both, we finally clash on a still highly unequal playing football field. A little bit of history: when aTm decided to integrate its football team in the late 1960s, they fairly well dismantled PV's football staff, that was quite successful & very dominant in 1950s/early-mid 1960s, by hiring/luring them away to help build their program. Simultaneously, PV's program went to **** & aTm's ascended greatly w/ the new "recruiters" bringing in quality athletes, not student-athletes.
