17,835 in Newark to see UD put up their most points since 2007, most in an opener since 1993, and continue their in-state reign.

An overpacked stadium (9,000 seats) with a grand total of 9757 in attendance. Kinda slow filling in the seats as the game was at 6 p.m. on a Thursday. Everyone was still fighting the Little Rock traffic when they got off work at 5 p.m. Not fun. But they showed up. Should have been a 7 p.m. game.

Then when the team went up 42-3 by half everyone left. xlolx

That just blows my mind. What's the average attendance? Does it increase as the year goes on? I mean its not like Sam hasn't been successful. Good grief! xeyebrowx I imagine you have the same problem later in the year that we do with "hunting season" drawing thousands from the games to the fields and forests. Which is why I thought you would have more to start the year.

Is that Colin Kaepernick standing up protesting the fact that everyone is sitting down? That is a great looking atmosphere/stadium...did not know Montana football had such a following. That is impressive.

14,982 for Tx Southern vs PVAMU. Our capacity is 15K. There was another 5-7K outside the stadium tailgating/watching remote in the MSC as all were told two weeks ago it was a sellout game.

that is funny....Been away from FCS for awhile raising kids and attending their events...last one is now a freshman in college so getting back into FCS. Still impressive when considering the size of state and lack of overall population.

Since we've added attendance at FBS home games, Buffalo announced a paid 18,657 for their loss to Albany. Estimates of actual attendance have ranged from about 12000 to as few as 7500.

Poor showing for Stonybrook . Good game, great weather and only 6155 showed up. Low attendance is always our problem except Homecoming if the weather is good.

Sam can't get their alumni to come back for games. The only game alumni show up to is the Battle of the Piney Woods since it's in Houston. It's also probably the only week Sam alumna take off their maroon shirts and put on orange.

It's pretty sad given the success that Sam has had over the past 16 years, and it's something their AD and marketing just fail to address yearly

I find that hard to believe....

Hah yeah, that was only 46,000 if the stadium holds 120k.

It was probably like 19,000-25,000.

https://scontent-lax3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/14238156_10154454653107008_8990095442462494451_n.j pg?oh=d3f8887bf25628b74ee3924bcc935363&oe=584609DE

Other than the student section, it looked like they didn't even sell tickets in the endzone by the video board. And the covered numerous entire sections with tarps that had the SDSU logos on them.
