chaseedmonds22 (https://www.instagram.com/chaseedmonds22/) I choose to stay with the road that God has put forth in front of me. I know my time will come but only when he knows I am ready for that moment. To my brothers. Thankyou for your support and understanding. I'm a FORDHAM RAM for life and I've never been more ambitious for the next two years ahead of us.

Rest easy, Fordham fans. Two more years of Chase.

Very happy to hear this news! And this is coming from someone who has, in the past four seasons, had to sit through 3 down-to-the-last play losses and a homecoming blowout to you guys.

So, his big move to the BIG10 never materialized.

It certainly took quite some time to reaffirm his commitment.

Translation: Whoever it is that is courting me needs to step up their game and offer more money.

I mean realistically how do the teammates feel about this?

I think everyone around the program and in it is thrilled that he'll be back. He was always referenced as the hardest worker, best prepared and best leader that Moorhead has coached, which is remarkable given that he's only a sophomore. I think coaches, fans and teammates understand that his coach went to a big time P5 school and, given his success, he tested the waters to see what his options were and, for whatever reason, came back to staying at Fordham being best for him. All good and no one more relieved imo than new Head Coach Breiner.

Or did he see that something is rotten in Happy Valley?

Not claiming to know anything, but former W&M DC Bob Shoop left his post as co-DC in Happy Valley for the DC position at Tennessee. May have something to do with the defensive players leaving?

I follow the PSU program closely and even more so since Moorhead went there. There hasn't been a transfer yet that has caused any real concern. Look, Lynch is a great kid but was surpassed by a true freshman this year. A stud 4 star RB redshirted and they have another 5 star coming in with the incoming freshman. He's leaving because they're loaded at RB which is also why the idea of Chase going there was a non-starter as well.

I thought there might be a P5 school with a very thin depth chart where he might land but glad there wasn't anything compelling enough.

OUt of the of the PSU transfers the only one that has caused ANY angst has been the LB transfer to Delaware. Even there, though, it can be rationalized pretty easily given that he's not due to start next year and wanted to play at his dad's alma mater, with his brother who just committed and much, much closer to home.

This will certainly keep Fordham in the mix. Still, the wr and QB play dropped off last year Especially the WR group as whole. Edmonds is awesome but he can't do it himself. I believe an offensive that isn't quite as explosive, a shaken up coaching staff and a terrible defense (Lehigh bad) are going to hold the Rams back some in 2016.

I'm not worried about our receiving corps. Most of them were frosh (Corey Caddle, Austin Longi, Jonathan Lumley, Jordan Allen) who gained valuable playing time, which should pay big dividends in 2016 and beyond. Now, about that defense . . . Yikes!

Corey Caddle: 36 REC, 466 YDS, 12.9 AVG, 5 TDs, 71 LONG, 38.8 YDS/G
Austin Longi: 34 REC, 463 YDS, 13.6 AVG, 6 TDs, 45 LONG, 38.6 YDS/G
Jonathan Lumley: 19 REC, 263 YDS, 13.8 AVG, 3 TDs, 43 LONG, 23.9 YDS/G
Jordan Allen: 17 REC, 322 YDS, 18.9 AVG, 1 TD, 60 LONG, 35.8 YDS/G

Agreed on reason to be hopeful about WR production next year. I would also argue that Anderson was stellar at QB. He may not have been as good as '13 Nebrich but I would argue he was better than '14 Nebrich which is really saying a lot. Offense should be great yet again imo.

It it all comes down to our D which has been as horrific as our O has been prolific.

PSU stocked at RB.

PSU stocked at RB.

More about the four others plus him. Each explainable in one way or another, but as more and more leave, it gets harder to explain.
