(Note: This might belong in a different forum, but I thought it was pertinent to football, so it's here!)

So, I stumbled across Lafayette College's WRJH (http://ww2.lafayette.edu/%7Ewjrh/) through Wikipedia and found out that they are podcasting their weekly sports program (among other things). I subscribed so I can listen to what other schools have to say about their programs and football teams come the fall.

Question, does any other college (or not if you get bigger coverage) have a podcast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Podcast) that covers your I-AA program? I'd love to subscribe to more to catch what's going around elsewhere.

All you really need is Ralph's I-AA podcasts, and my podcast snippets from the Lehigh/Villanova game on my blog, and you're good to go :)

Lehigh has(/had?) a TV program which covers their entire sports scene, called Lehigh Sports Magazine. It airs on CSTV and I believe it is podcasted somewhere as well. In our area, it's also broadcast locally.

What would a group need in order to kickoff a podcast series (besides a fan base)??

I just discovered Audio Blogger and plan on using that this fall!

I'm just learning. Apparently iLife (Apple's programs) makes it real easy with Garage Band. You can also do it with Quicktime 7. I think the real issue is hosting.

Here is Quicktime (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/podcasting.html) and here is Garage Band (http://www.apple.com/support/garageband/podcasts/). I guess you record with a program like that, publish it in an RSS feed and if you want send it to iTunes. Anyone that knows the RSS feed URL can subscribe to it and download the podcast when new ones become available. Feedburner (http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/popup-quickstart-podcast) has a quick guide.

I think I could see myself doing something like this in the next year or so.
