Liberty plays #4 Coastal tomorrow night on ESPNews. While the Flames will not be playing for an at-large berth, they will be playing to continue a streak nonetheless. With a victory against the Chanticleers, the Flames will clinch their 10th consecutive winning season.

With that I ask, who has the longest active streak of seasons finishing above .500?

Harvard's last season below .500 was 1998 (though the 1999 and 2000 seasons were 5-5, so right at .500)

This year marks 11 consecutive winning seasons for McNeese. 2005 through 2015.

Eastern Kentucky is just 4 points away from having a winning season streak dating back to 1973 (they went 5-6 in 2009, losing one game by 3 pts)

If you have an iPhone ask Siri what 0 divided by 0 is. The answer is hilarious.

But we do have 18 of our last 20 (only '11 and '05)

So if they lose does that mean the current streak falls back onto us? This season marks 13 for us. Or is there someone we haven't said yet or are they tied? What's the almighty Bison's current streak?

Since 1965, NDSU has only had 3 losing seasons.

1975: 2-7
2002: 2-8
2009: 3-8

haha, watch your mouth!!! Yeah It's gonna be interesting this year though. It seems pretty wide open but J-State looks pretty tough. I haven't seen this William and Mary so i'm not sure on them. I think NDSU has a decent chance to make it back though.

William and Mary is the team I don't want to meet in the playoffs. They look MEAN. I watched some of their highlights last night and they can definitely bring it. It's gonna be one heck of a year. I just hope after all the carnage happens that a Gamecock hoists the trophy in Frisco.

Isn't he (#5) the one the Grizzlies kept burning on pass plays all game long?

Yep, sure was. His name is Jordan Champion. If memory serves he was offered by both Montana and NDSU out of high school (in Arizona). Given his surname he knew the college choice he had to make...

This season is Harvard's 15th winning season (better than .500), and 17th non-losing season (.500 or better) in a row. Though some would say that the Ivies are not truly FCS teams.

This is correct. Harvard has the longest streak of winning seasons in FCS. In fact, they have won at least 7 games per year since 2001.

Wrong. MSU was 6-5 in 2001, which is 14 years running. Going for 15 straight Saturday.

So, if MSU beats UM, we'll be tied with Harvard with 15 straight winning seasons. The Bobcats consecutive streak is somewhat impressive, considering that the year before the streak started, the Bobcats went winless (that was a tough year being a student there, tailgating was the only reason to go to games).

So if it weren't for our complete self-destruction in 2012, UM and MSU would be #1 and #2 right now? That is impressive

Even more impressive is that at least one team from MT has been in the playoffs since 1993, a streak of 22 years that I hope comes to an end with a Bobcat W, but I wouldn't be completely upset if UM won and kept the streak alive.

The Bobcats were 5-6. A vast improvement over 2000's 0-11, but still not a winning season.

I believe if you had a losing season in 2001 that means if you have a winning season this year that would indeed only put you at 14 winning seasons in row. 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Montana State was 5-6 in 2001 according to http://michigan-football.com/ncaa/f/montstat.htm

If the information is incorrect then perhaps you should contact them and provide proof of your statistics. I have never known them to be wrong.

McNeese has only had two losing seasons in the last 25 years. We had a losing season in 1996 (3-8) and in 2004 (4-7).
