The largest FCS game in the country is happening this weekend down in Birmingham, Al and will be shown live on ESPN3 and tape delay on ESPN-U. Last year's game drew over 67,000 people and had a $25 million dollar economic impact for the Birmingham metro area.
Tailgate spots sold out in less than 2 hours on-line 3 weeks ago and officially started Monday morning, and as off October 13 there were fewer than 8,000 tickets remaining for the game.

You won't get many comments on the game since it will outdistance the attendance of @ least 13 D-I FCS games that are non-SWAC/MEAC combined on the same day :D lol. Not too many are interested in their product, for the most part.

Hope the weather sustains and you all set a record for attendance.

I will most likely check it out. Always interested in seeing how the FCS as a whole is.

I'll stay off the web and catch it on ESPNU @ 9:30. I'm sure I'll be one of a handful sitting in the rain tomorrow @ 1pm catching the PVAMU affair w/ UAPB.

Has UAPB dropped the hammer on Colman yet? They're gawd awful this year.

I'm not 100% certain but I think this is year #3 of his 3yr deal. I'd be shocked if they sign him to an extension.

Great atmosphere yesterday despite the weather. I'm glad that we were able to pick up the win.
