It is an overcast day with weather about 60m degrees as Chattanooga and Wofford battle in a key Southern Conference game. UTC is 5-0 and 3-0, while Wofford is a deceptive 3-4 and 1-2. Very small and quiet crowd as things get started.

Jacob Huesman directedly the Mocs down the field quickly after the opening kickoff for a quick score and a 7-0 lead. Wofford picked up ground to midfield before a penalty stalled its first drive. UTC now is at the 20 for its second possession.

Huesman overthrew by inches an open Xavier Borishade at the WC 40 and then went for five yards on a run before converting for first down on a run and another first down on a pass on back-to-bacl plays to the UTC 42.

On second and 9, Chris Armfield had a big hit in the secondary to break up a pass for Wofford and a drop underneath coverage forces UTC to punt.

Kickoff out of bounds give UTC the ball at the 35. A jet sweep should have resulted in a big loss, but bad tackling makes it second and 7. Huesman pass to the 43. Third and 2. Huesman keeper to the 46 for the conversion.

Chattanooga didn't run an offensive play in the second half in its own end of the field until the end of the third period. An incomplete pass and a failed run have the Mocs at third and 9 to open the fourth.

They won at Wofford for the first time in 17 years
They have played 4 of their last 5 games on the road (all wins)

The oline needs to play much better. Tired of seeing them get patted on the back. They should be dominant. We need to get back to rolling huesman out of the pocket as well.

Clutch kick from Ribeiro. He has the talent, only thing questionable is the mental toughness. That was big.

Talking to Ribeiro after the game, he seemed like a pretty confident kid. From what I have seen of him, I pretty much expected him to make that kick. He said he feels pretty comfortable anywhere from 55 yards in.

He didn't use a block in HS either, so that was off the grass too.
