Sure. I own that piss poor loss. I'm just saying that a state school losing to an Native American tribe is troublesome.

Delaware State is a "state school" for ******s sake.

In name, but it's far smaller (about a fifth the size) and poorer (endowment of about $20 million vs $1.3 billion) than the University of Delaware. It's similar to the other schools in the MEAC in terms of size, but poorer than most of them. The decisions made by the athletic department are also, charitably speaking, perplexing.

Without looking it up, I think Chowan is a Division II school in the CIAA (a league of HBCU schools much like the MEAC).

I just looked it up and I'm mostly right - Chowan is NOT a HBCU, but is in the Division II, HBCU-focused CIAA.

Pretty interesting day for the CIAA with Chowan winning, Bowie State nearly upsetting Central Connecticut State, and Gardner Webb holding off Virginia Union. But yeah, disaster loss for Delaware State.

Murfreesboro, NC, which is in NE North Carolina.

I didn't even know there was a Murfreesboro, NC until just now when I looked up the Chowan information.
