With a share of the Northeast Conference title on the line, Wagner needed a spark and their southpaw signal caller delivered. En-route to capturing the NEC Offensive Player of the Week award, Chris Andrews engineered a last-minute touchdown drive that gave Wagner a breath-taking 23-20 victory over Bryant. Going up against a Bryant defense that ranked amongst the top-10 FCS leader in both yards and points allowed per game, the junior quarterback accounted for 212 yards of total offense, including 62 yards on the final possession, and one touchdown.
