Two schools that definitely did not meet expectations through the season--or is there another you would nominate for most surprising finish in 2006?

Dayton's loss to USD assured the Fyers its first losing season since 1976.

Richmond <-- picked to win the A10 South and is now in fifth
UT Martin <-- picked fifth in the OVC, now tied for first
Tenn St <-- picked eighth in the OVC, now tied for first

Delaware was picked fourth in the A10 South and that's where they are

Colgate at at 4-6, 3-2 in the League was the heavy favorite to win the Patriot this year. They were eliminated last week and will have first losing season in about 11 years. While they have a young line to explain some of their inconsistency this year, in terms of expectations, I think they are a candidate.

Colgate. Many of us were in denial that we had to rebuild and had a lot of youth.

Pennsylvania also had a surprisingly mediocre season.
