Maybe they will talk more about the FCS this time? Will the "real" college football season be started before that? If not that is all we will hear about from ESPN

I know but oh well....hopefully we have better announcers then you guys had this year. At least that bonehead Cowturd won't be in the booth!

Should be a good game.

With almost the whole offense coming back, maybe 400 yards rushing will not be out of the question next year...xthumbsupx

Awesome news! Not only do NDSU and Montana get the national spotlight for this game but it completely frees up Fantasy Football Draft Weekend for me (otherwise known as Labor Day Weekend) and allows me to get out to Missoula if I can get tickets.

The lack of discussion about the game on the field and all of the talk about the FBS playoffs was nausiating. I am surprised they didn't break away from the field and just show those morons listing teams on a whiteboard.

Tickets to that game are going to be very difficult to get.

Normally, I'd have illustrated the point with a ludicrous metaphor but, hey, I'm sick.

Yep. I imagine we'll set a new attendance record this weekend and then probably break it next August.

When do single game tickets for the Griz typically go on sale?

Typically single game tickets go on sale late July. Tickets this year went on sale July 21st.

Hotel reservation made -- now just need to worry about tickets. I'm not sure if I have enough priority points to get them through the NDSU athletic dep't.

That will be a great representation of FCS football on ESPN. Hopefully the Griz can make a game of it.

Not sure about the Griz but the Bison are going to lose a good chunk of their vaunted defense. Both DEs, all 3 starting LBs, and both starting safeties are seniors this year. They obviously have talent behind them but they'll need more than just talent to fill in for the guys they're replacing. That being said the Bison should return almost everyone on offense (they'll actually have 6 returning starters on their OL as one of their starters from 2013 has been injured this whole season) with the exception of their RB Crockett and possibly their top WR Vraa (who could/should get a medical hardship year if he wants it).

Point is the Bison will definitely be a team in transition on defense so we'll see whether or not they can keep their defensive tradition going right away on national TV. Now back to enjoying this season while it's still going!

Not really including the "glue guys" and that's what I'd consider Vaadeland. They've got a logjam at TE right now anyway. I've been more impressed with Albers and Illies to this point. They're also losing Gebhart, who's been listed as a starting WR for a few weeks now, but I think the freshman Urzendowski is their 2nd best WR.

I think everyone else in D-I starts Labor Day weekend (9/3-9/7). If I owned a hotel in Missoula, that weekend would be getting jacked up though
