Nicholls actually has some good players and are about to hire a great coach who I think can get them turned around, at least headed in the right direction. He's a local guy who will get the community behind him and has excellent ties around the state when it comes to recruiting. They're our biggest rival but it's always better when they're competitive.

I would love a crack at EWU again. That's exactly how I worried that game would play out last time. You made our coaching staff abandon the run game and throw. That's what happens when teams like that come together and the high scoring team gets a lead on a grind it out team. You make them throw and it gets out of hand. SDSU's defense wasn't great last year. Better than EWU, but their offense couldn't keep up when they abandoned what they were good at. EWU won, and props for that. This year would/will turn out differently, but maybe that's the fact that it's after bar close here talking.....

I would second that - Harris has always been tough to deal with. He's slippery.

Congrats again......after VMI choked their first two offensive possessions (the first one, the VMI receiver dropped a sure TD pass with no defenders within 15 feet of him), I knew the 'Dawgs would roll with the running game.
