View Full Version : NAACP Harmony Classic - Howard vs. Central Connecticut

Central Connecticut is proud to host the Bison of Howard for the 2014 NAACP Harmony Classic at Arute Field. This is the second time that CCSU has hosted the Harmony Classic, but it is the first time the game will be played on campus. In 2008, the Blue Devils hosted the contest at Veterans Memorial Stadium in New Britain.

Series History • This is the first meeting between the Blue Devils and the Bison of Howard. However, CCSU is 2-0 all-time against current members of the MEAC. The Blue Devils defeated North Carolina Central, 35-23, in the NAACP Harmony Classic in 2008. CCSU also has a victory over Delaware State, 28-10, from 2008. The Blue Devils played NC Central and DSU in back-to-back games during the 2008 season.

Howard can travel to Central Connecticut, but can't travel to Georgetown. Think about that one.

Do they need a sponsor's check to play outside the MEAC? The "2015 Easterns Motors Classic", perhaps?
